In the second quarter of 2024, Latin America's leading theme parks apps exhibited varied performance trends according to the latest data from Sensor Tower. Here's a glimpse into how these apps fared.
My Disney Experience saw a noticeable uptick in weekly active users, climbing from 16K to over 18K, while downloads increased from 12K to 15K. Revenue peaked at nearly $28K in late April before tapering off to just above $21K by the end of June.
Meanwhile, the Disneyland® app's weekly active users also rose, starting at 41K and ending at 43K. The app's downloads showed a consistent increase from 11K to over 12K. Revenue for Disneyland® experienced a dip mid-quarter, falling to $461 but recovered to $603 by the quarter's end.
NBCUniversal Media, LLC's Universal Orlando Resort app maintained a steady trend in weekly active users, starting at 20K and growing to nearly 20K. Downloads saw a gradual increase from 6K to 6K.
The Beto Carrero World app, despite not generating revenue, showed an interesting trend with downloads starting at 6K, dipping mid-quarter to just under 5K, and then rebounding to 7K. Weekly active users followed a similar pattern, initially at 26K, dipping to 23K, and rising again to 26K by the end of the quarter.
Lastly, Universal Studios Hollywood™ also reported no revenue, but downloads and active users varied. Downloads began at 5K, reducing to 4K mid-quarter, and then picking back up to over 5K. Active users started at 18K, decreased to 15K, and climbed back to 17K.
